Note that in the Falklands war the SAS were asked to carry 130 lbs of backpacks over miles of rugged country) If the US army decided to issue exoskeletons to their &#039;rangers&#039; and placed an order for say 100,00 the cost per item might drop to a level when they became feasible for  civilian use.
